My Life as a SAHM

After working for so many years in the Corporate world in the city that never sleeps, New York, I am now in the tranquil atmosphere of a small town in CT. I moved to Waterbury in the summer of 2004 after I married my adorable husband Luis. Luis and I decided we wanted to have a child soon after we were married and in fact we did get pregnant on our honeymoon but unfortunately lost the baby a few months later. We tried to get pregnant again but with no success. We were trying for over 2 years until we decided to visit a fertility specialist to see why were unable to get pregnant again. After so many months of fertility drugs and failed IUI's we decided to go through IVF and thank God it worked for us on the first attempt. In July of 2006 I was pregnant. I had my baby girl in March of 2007 and she is currently 6 months old. I decided to stay at home to take care of my little one because I did not want to deal with commuting to NY to work no longer. I enjoy seeing her wake up every day, she takes my breath away.
